We will be gathering on 36 Thursday evenings from 5:30-9:30pm beginning May 13th 2010 and ending February 24th 2011. We will take a holiday break from November 25th through December 30th.

Our Thursday evening schedule will be:
5:30-6:00pm Opening / Centering
6:00-7:00pm Lecture
7:00-7:20pm Administrative Details
7:20-7:30pm Break
7:30-9:00pm Asana Practice and/or Student Sharing

Your time spent with Ann, Dona & guest presenters at APYC and completing assigned homework will cover the 200 required hours. In the event a student needs to miss a Thursday evening session(s), opportunities to make up hours will be provided throughout the course.

The total cost of the program is $3,420 made up of a $30 application fee, a $390 deposit due upon acceptance and $3,000 tuition.  This cost covers the Thursday evening sessions, a set of 10 APYC classes, a binder of informational materials to be compiled and used throughout the course, the six textbooks listed below and a celebratory dinner at a local indian restaurant for graduation.  Tuition will be due in the form of ten payments of $300 on May 13th, June 3rd, July 1st, August 5th, September 2nd, October 7th, November 4th, November 18th, January 6th & February 3rd.  APYC accepts cash, checks, visa, mastercard, discover & american express.  Students paying their complete balance of $3,420 on or before June 3rd will receive an extra set of 10 APYC classes (for a total of 20) and a $108 merchandise credit!

Any sincere yoga student who desires to deepen his/her practice and understanding, who longs to share their love of yoga and wishes to serve others through yoga teaching is invited to apply for acceptance into this course. We will look for the length of
time practicing yoga
and a desire to serve others as the motivation to teach. Please know that your physical prowess and abilities in the asanas has very little to do with your effectiveness as a teacher. You may be a better teacher because you
struggle with some of the practices or have disabilities or challenges! Your own experiences of effectively directed will, surrender and achievement will help you relate to and encourage the same beautiful process in your students.
