APYC's 2008 Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) began on
May 1st and will run through February 2009.

All People Yoga Center (APYC) has been a leader in Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in Indiana since 1999.
Our teacher training school is registered with Yoga Alliance (the national registry for yoga
teachers & schools) at the 200 hour level. Details of APYC's 2008 200 hour YTT appear below.
Our next 200 hour YTT with Ann Miller & Dona Robinson will begin in May 2009!
Please contact ann@allpeopleyoga.com if you would like more information on future YTTs at APYC.

We will be gathering on 35 Thursday evenings from 5:30-9:30pm beginning May 1st 2008 and ending February 26th 2009.

Our Thursday evening schedule will be:
5:30-6:00pm Opening / Centering
6:00-7:00pm Lecture
7:00-7:20pm Administrative Details
7:20-7:30pm Break
7:30-9:00pm Asana Practice and/or Student Teaching
9:00-9:30pm Closing / Grounding

We will not be meeting on May 29th, July 3rd & September 4th and will take a holiday break from November 27th through January 1st 2009. Your time spent with Ann, Dona & guest presenters at APYC and completing assigned homework will cover the 200 required hours. The cost of the program is $3,390 (payable with a $390 deposit due upon acceptance & three $1,000 payments due on May 1st, August 14th & November 20th 2008). APYC accepts cash, checks, mastercard & visa. This tuition includes the Thursday evening sessions, a set of 10 APYC classes, a binder of informational materials to be compiled and used throughout the course & the required textbooks which include:

Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda,
Beyond Power Yoga by Beryl Bender Birch,
Inside the Yoga Sutras by Jaganath Carrera,
The Language of Yoga by Nicolai Bachman,
The Tree of Yoga by BKS Iyengar,
Yoga Anatomy by Leslie Kaminoff,
Yoga for Transformation by Gary Kraftsow &
Yoga Nidra CD by Swami Shankardev

Any sincere yoga student who desires to deepen his/her practice and understanding, who longs to share their love of yoga
and wishes to serve others through yoga teaching is invited to apply for acceptance into this course. We will look for the length of time practicing yoga and a desire to serve others as the motivation to teach. Please know that your physical prowess and abilities in the asanas has very little to do with your effectiveness as a teacher. You may be a better teacher because you struggle with some of the practices or have disabilities or challenges! Your own experiences of effectively directed will, surrender and achievement will help you relate to and encourage the same beautiful process in your students.
